Sydney band The Knowns spent the COVID-19 lockdown writing
and recording over 40 original songs with lyrics taken from the plays
and poetry of William Shakespeare. The project is being published as
four separate albums over 2021.

O, Mistress Mine is from The Knowns’ second album HARK, available on Bandcamp
and Spotify.

Featuring archival video of rotoscoped belly dancers from 1960 Arab television
and the band shot in chiaroscuro black-and-white, the video forms a sensitive
rendition of a beautiful and timeless song.
